In the wake of the India-Pakistan conflict, Gwalior MFD Brajesh Singh of RPL Wealth India started visiting the family members of his clients working with the Indian Armed Forces.
The MFD handed over a certificate expressing his gratitude, along with the AMFI – ‘Mutual Fund Sahi Hai’ tagline.
Brajesh said that he started this campaign to recognize the contribution of army officials and their family members. The objective was to appreciate and motivate the family members of armed forces personnel who must be having sleepless nights due to the border dispute.
This initiative, though not aimed at business development, resulted in more than 125 SIPs amounting to Rs.4.50 lakh and a lumpsum business of Rs.1.50 crore through a few retired army officials who had parked their money in bank FDs or post offices. This initiative also brought him business from 45 inactive clients.
Over the last week, Brajesh met 175 families in person and contacted 100 army clients via mobile, giving them assurance that he would lend support to their family members economically and emotionally.
The MFD said that his clients appreciated this gesture by calling him back from their duty postings once they came to know about his visit from their families.
