AMCs line up to launch AIFs

Of the 30 new offerings in the AIF space, AMCs have floated 16 AIFs schemes in Category II and Category III.

AIFs is the new flavour among AMCs. The latest data published by PMS Bazaar shows that 11 AMCs have floated 16 new schemes in the AIF space.

The 11 AMCs include ICICI Prudential, Edelweiss, Motilal Oswal, Indiabulls, DSP, Franklin Templeton, IIFL, ITI, Reliance, Tata and Sundaram. Of the 16 schemes, 10 schemes are under category – III AIFs while the rest of them are category – II AIFs.

Of the total 30 new offerings in the AIF space, which are currently open for subscription, AMCs account for 16.
