Industry events are known to provide the perfect learning platform to understand new trends and different business practices. They are also seen as an opportunity to meet industry experts and fellow peers coming across India.

But, how can you make the most of these events?

Here are three simple yet effective ways to get the maximum out of an industry event.

    #1 - Embrace a growth mind set

Having a growth mind set motivates you to have an open mind and explore newer ideas, which in turn simplifies the overall learning process. Additionally, it creates more acceptance of different perspectives and triggers innovation. It also fuels healthy discussions and makes it easier to implement changes in everyday business practices.

Smart Tip: Make notes of key learnings and think about their applicability from a business perspective.

#2 - Keep talking points ready

Networking goes beyond exchanging business cards. It is all about making a lasting impression and creating meaningful business ties. And to get there, it is imperative to break the ice and having talking points ready can make this easy.

You can talk on any topic of your comfort like market, sports, etc or simply exchange your weekend plans.

Smart Tip: You can take a cue from event agenda and create your talking points.

    #3 - Plan your activities

Industry events usually have designated areas for exhibitors and networking. As the key agenda is to learn from the expert speakers, plan for yourself in advance how much time will you be spending in the exhibition area and networking zone.

Also, it is a good idea to post on social media the key learnings and pictures clicked with industry veterans. This not only enhances the quality of your content but also creates a positive impression on your viewers.

Smart Tip: Go early and finish your registration quickly. This gives you the time to go around the venue and identify all relevant spots that you should be visiting during the day.

So which is the event that you will be attending next? Isn’t it Cafemutual Confluence 2023 (CC 23)?

CC 23 will be held on October 13, 2023 at Taj Lands End, Mumbai and promises to prepare you to think innovatively and create an anti-fragile business model.
