Amid these challenging times of the pandemic, many in the MFD community showed extraordinary courage and resolve to create a difference in others’ lives. At Cafemutual Ideas Fest (CIF 2021), Axis Mutual and Cafemutual aim to pay a tribute to these selfless heroes by felicitating them for their valuable contributions to humanity.
MFDs who have done selfless work during the pandemic can share their stories at nishant@cafemutual.com before January 31, 2021.
To shortlist the winners, a 3-member jury has been created. This jury comprises Raghav Iyengar, Chief Business Officer at Axis MF, Dhruv Mehta, chairman of Foundation of Independent Financial Advisors (FIFA) and Prem Khatri of Cafemutual.
Here is an indicative list of the activities:
- Provided food, rations, medicines etc.
- Provided financial counselling to those impacted negatively (i.e. those who lost jobs or saw pay cuts or loss in business) by the pandemic
- Worked as a volunteer for charity for engaged in Covid relief activities
- Provided support to frontline warriors (our medical and paramedical personnel, municipal workers, police etc.)
- Helped fellow MFDs with material support
- Contributed to the mental wellbeing of affected people
- Helped senior citizens
- Donated plasma/ help arrange plasma for covid patients
- Helped migrants reach their homes
- Went beyond the call of duty to help their clients during covid crisis

Cafemutual Ideas Fest will be held on February 10 and 11. The 2-day virtual conference will help you figure out some of the most pertinent issues such as what the post pandemic world would be like, the changes that are here to stay and finally what you can do to grow and prosper in the future.
