    CPC 2022: Industry’s first passive event is a mega hit!

    Over 350 mutual fund professionals gathered at Taj Lands End in Mumbai to witness the first passive event in India.

    The industry's first passive event Cafemutual Passives Conference 2022 succeeded in striking the right chord with MFDs, RIAs and AMCs in the very first attempt. 

    Over 350 people from the MF industry has attended the event, which had a strong line-up of international and national speakers.

    The passive craze was not limited to the floors of Taj Lands End in Mumbai, where the event was held. Several participants also took to Twitter and other social media sites to share their views and learnings from the event. They also praised the event, saying that it was much needed, given the rising popularity of ETFs and index funds and their future potential.

    The event was a mix of individual sessions and panel discussions. Among the speakers who delivered individual sessions were Deborah Fuhr (managing partner, Founder and Owner, ETFGI), Siddharth Srivastava (Head - ETF products, Mirae Asset MF), Luis Berruga (CEO of Global X). Senior industry officials like Mukesh Kalra (CEO of ET Money), Pratik Oswal (Head - Passive Funds at Motilal Oswal MF), Radhika Gupta (MD & CEO at Edelweiss MF), among others.

    Besides, Ananta Barua, Whole-Time Member of SEBI was the keynote speaker at CPC 2022.
