M Venugopal, former co-head – equities at Tata Mutual Fund has joined L&T Mutual Fund as its head of equities. Bhupinder Sethi who was the co head – equities at Tata MF has been appointed as Head – Equities.
Media reports also suggest that Kailash Kulkarni, Head-Sales at Kotak Mutual Fund who has put in his papers is believed to be joining L&T MF as its CEO. However, an L&T official denied the same.
The CEO’s post was vacant after Sanjay Sinha left L&T MF in August 2011. Subsequently Ashutosh Bishnoi was appointed as acting CEO to oversee the operations of the fund house.
