The Taurus Credit Opportunities Fund is an open-ended debt scheme with an objective to generate income by investing in debt and money market instruments. The scheme will invest around 10-50% in T- Bills & Govt. Securities; a maximum of 15% in debt and money market instruments with maturity up to 6 months; and 50-90% of the funds in debt and money market instruments with maturity exceeding 6 months.
The scheme offers growth and dividend options. The dividend option comes with payout and reinvestment facility.
The minimum amount for application is Rs. 5000; additional investments can be made in the multiples of Rs. 1000. An exit load of 1% will be charged in case of redemption/switch on or before 1 year from the date of allotment.
The fund will be managed by Rahul Pal and benchmarked against CRISIL Composite Bond Fund Index.
