    The CEO of Daiwa AMC, Piyush Surana is reportedly serving out his notice period.

    Piyush Surana, the CEO of Daiwa Mutual Fund has put in his papers and plans to start his own venture, according to a market source. Cafemutual contacted Piyush Surana but he declined to comment.

    A CA with a degree in law and a CFP certificate, Piyush is a veteran of the mutual fund industry with nearly 20 years of experience.  A remarkable aspect of his career has been that he has worked in all the key functions of the mutual funds business – investments, operations, business development.  Prior to Daiwa, he served as a COO for Shinsei and Alliance Capital. He has also been a part of Reliance Capital AMC and Kothari Pioneer AMC on the investments and operations side.
