    Nishant Patnaik Mar 5, 2018

CAMS has made GST compliance of mutual fund distributors easy. The company has introduced a new facility called GSTeasy for mutual fund distributors to raise GST invoices and comply with the GST norms.

This app is a comprehensive technology platform for distributors and other stakeholders to interact with GST Systems – from entity registration, to uploading invoice details and filing of returns. The platform integrates with your systems and brings several unique features to help your business stay GST compliant.

In a presentation sent to Cafemutual, the company said, “The app helps ensure GST compliance of your business with an open, transparent and participative framework. We have developed GST easy on a cloud platform to enable scalability. Our application and infrastructure will undergo security audit to ensure taxpayers data protection and financial information security. GST easy is sure to make your GST experience a hassle-free.”

Currently, distributors earning over Rs.20 lakh in a year or having a GST registration number irrespective of their income have to pay GST.

Surprised after reading two different views about GST on same platform. As per my knowledge If Income is less than 20 Lakhs but having GST number therefore one should not Pay GST. Else it is big threat/crime of applying GST number from the point that Income may crossed 20 Lakhs.
