A close ended debt scheme investing in debt & money market instruments
Axis Mutual Fund has filed an offer document with SEBI to launch a close ended debt scheme
The scheme aims to generate returns through a portfolio of debt & money market instruments that are maturing on or before the maturity of the respective plan. The plans will have a maximum tenure of 400 days.
The fund will be managed by Ninad Deshpande and R Sivakumar. The scheme will allocate a minimum of 70% of its net assets in CDs, CBLO, government securities, T-bills and repo and a maximum of 30% of its net assets in CPs.
The scheme will have no entry or exit loads. The fund offers growth, dividend payout and quarterly dividend payout options.
The scheme will have two benchmarks. For plans having maturity of up to 3 months, from the date of allotment, the benchmark index would be the CRISIL Liquid Fund Index. For plans having maturity of more than 3 months up to 400 days, from the date of allotment, the benchmark would be the CRISIL Short-Term Bond Fund Index.
