Axis Mutual Fund has filed an offer document with SEBI for launch of Axis Fundamental Factors Equity Fund an open - ended equity scheme.
The scheme’s investment objective is to generate long term capital appreciation by investing in a portfolio of equity and equity related instruments of companies where the weights of the stocks in the portfolio are determined by fundamental factors such as sales, cash flow, dividend and book value.
Under normal circumstances the scheme will allocate a minimum of 90% of its total assets to equity instruments constituting the FTSE RAFI India Index. The fund will allocate a maximum of 10% to debt & money market instruments. However investment in securitized debt would be up to a maximum of 10% of the net assets.
The scheme’s performance would be benchmarked against FTSE RAFI India 50 Index & S&P CNX Nifty.
The scheme will offer a growth option and dividend option. The dividend option will have choices of payout and reinvestment.
The fund will be managed by Mr. Sudhanshu Asthana.
