To help advisors of non-metro cities make better use of the services offered by registrar and transfer agents, Karvy Fintech has been hosting a series of knowledge events in 20 non metro locations.
As a part of this initiative, the R&T agent will hold knowledge event for advisors in Ranchi on December 19 and Bhubaneshwar on December 20, 2018. So far, the company has conducted these events in 12 locations.
Ravikumar Somasi, General Manager, Karvy Fintech said that IFAs in non-metro locations are not aware of services offered by R&T agents such as mail back services, investor service query, GST invoices, and so on.
R&T agents offer a variety of services to distributors such as transfer of funds, general business reports like commission data, scheme-wise and fund house-wise AUM, CTs and NCTs status, cancelled transactions and so on.
Somasi further said, “We give them demo sessions. Post such sessions, we encourage them to ask questions on our services. I can say it is more like an interactive session for IFAs.”
In the next two months, the R&T agent will hold such events in Raipur, Guwahati, Shimla and Panjim.
