    MF quarterly AAUM just short of Rs.60 lakh crore

    SBI MF, ICICI Prudential MF and HDFC MF have the highest quarterly AAUM.

    AMFI data shows that the quarterly average AAUM of the MF industry has increased by 9% from Rs. 54.13 lakh crore in March 2024 to Rs. 58.97 lakh crore in June 2024. 

    SBI MF, ICICI Prudential MF and HDFC MF have the highest quarterly AAUM among all fund houses. These three fund houses also showed the highest rise in AUM in absolute terms. 

    SBI MF has the highest quarterly AAUM of Rs. 9.88 lakh crore. The quarterly AUM of the fund house rose from Rs. 9.14 lakh crore in March 2024. 

    The quarterly AAUM of ICICI Prudential MF also increased from Rs. 6.83 lakh crore to Rs. 7.47 lakh crore from March 2024 to June 2024. HDFC MF has the third-highest quarterly AUM at Rs. 6.71 lakh crore in June 2024 increasing from Rs. 6.12 lakh crore in March 2024. 

    Nippon India MF and Kotak MF complete the top 5 with quarterly AAUM of Rs. 4.84 lakh crore and Rs. 4.19 lakh crore, respectively. 

    Other fund houses with high quarterly AUM include Aditya Birla MF, UTI MF, Axis MF, Mirae Asset MF and DSP MF. 

    In terms of absolute increase, SBI MF, ICICI Prudential MF and HDFC MF showed the highest increase in quarterly AAUM. Nippon India MF and Kotak MF also recorded high increase in their quarterly AAUM. 

    In terms of percentage increase, the relatively new fund houses led the way. Zerodha MF recorded the highest percentage increase in quarterly AUM of over 190% while Old Bridge MF came second with a 177% increase. Shriram MF and Helios MF also recorded over 50% percentage increase.
