Axis Mutual Fund has filed an offer document with SEBI to launch Axis Infrastructure Debt Fund – Series 1
The investment objective of the fund is to generate returns primarily through a portfolio of debt instruments of companies engaged in infrastructure & infrastructure related sectors.
The minimum amount for application/switch in during the NFO is Rs. 1 crore. The scheme offers growth and dividend payout facility.
The scheme will invest a minimum of 90% of its total assets in debt instruments of companies engaged in infrastructure & infrastructure related sectors. A minimum of 10% will be allocated to convertibles including mezzanine financing instruments of companies engaged in infrastructure & infrastructure related sectors and money market Instruments and bank deposits.
CRISIL Composite Bond Fund Index will be the benchmark for the scheme. The fund will be managed by Ninad Deshpande and Jinesh Gopani.
