Sundaram Mutual Fund has filed an offer document with SEBI to launch Sundaram Fixed Term Plan-DC-DN, a close ended income scheme.
The investment objective of the scheme is to generate income with minimum volatility by investing in debt and money market securities, which mature on or before the maturity of the scheme.
The scheme offers dividend payout and growth facilities. The fund will be managed by Siddharth Chaudhary.
For plans with tenure of upto 12 months the scheme will invest in money market instruments and short term and medium-term debt instruments. For plans with tenure above 12 months a maximum of 30% will be invested in money market instruments and a minimum of 70% in short term and medium-term debt instruments. The benchmark for the scheme will be the CRISIL Short term Bond Fund Index.
