Essel Finance Mutual Fund has appointed Madangopal Jalan as the new CEO. Jalan is also the Chief Compliance Officer and Company Secretary of the fund house. He has succeeded Rajiv Shastri.
Jalan has over 30 years of experience in handling compliance and secretarial functions across the financial services industry. Prior to this, he has worked with Future Generali India Life Insurance and Lloyds Finance in legal and compliance.
A company secretary (CS), Jalan has done B.Com, LLB and Business Law from the University of Allahabad.
In May, Essel Finance MF appointed Sarvana Kumar as the Chief Investment Officer after the exit of Viral Berawala.
As on March 2019, Essel MF manages AUM of Rs.1,416 crore.
