BNP Paribas Mutual Fund has filed an offer document with SEBI to launch its open ended equity fund called BNP Paribas India Consumption Fund.
The fund aims to seek to generate capital appreciation and provide long-term growth opportunities by investing in companies expected to benefit by providing products and services to the growing consumption needs of Indian consumers, which in turn is getting fuelled by high disposable incomes and growing consumption needs of Indian households.
The fund will be benchmarked against BSE 200 and will carry 1% exit load if redeemed or switched-out up to 1 year from the date of allotment of units. The minimum lump sum investment is Rs. 5,000 and Rs 500 through SIPs. The fund will be managed by Shreyash Devalkar
