    SBI MF files offer document for SBI Infrastructure Debt Fund - Series I

    SBI MF has filed an offer document with SEBI to launch SBI Infrastructure Debt Fund - Series I, a debt oriented interval scheme.

    The investment objective is to provide capital appreciation to its investors by investing in a portfolio of infrastructure debt securities.

    The fund will invest a minimum of 90% of its assets in debt securities of infrastructure companies, securitized debt instrument of infrastructure companies or infrastructure capital companies or infrastructure projects or special purpose vehicles which are created for the purpose of facilitating or promoting investment in infrastructure, and other permissible assets or bank loans in respect of completed and revenue generating projects of infrastructure companies or projects or special purpose vehicles.

    The fund will invest a maximum of 10% of its assets in equity shares, convertibles including mezzanine financing instruments of companies engaged in infrastructure, infrastructure development projects or money market instruments and bank deposits. 

    The minimum investment will be Rs. 1 Crore and in multiples of Rs. 10 lacs thereafter. The scheme will offer growth and dividend options. The benchmark for the scheme will be CRISIL Composite Bond Fund Index. The fund will be managed by Dinesh Ahuja.
