BSE Star MF has launched four new services for distributors and independent financial advisors - auto empanelment, distributors' brokerage services, Star MF mobility app and independent financial advisors portfolio services.
Auto empanelment will make the empanelment process seamless between the BSE and mutual fund houses, which would save time and effort of IFAs and AMCs.
In the distributors' brokerage services, BSE will compute, collect and distribute commission to distributors for all BSE Star MF transactions.
Star MF mobility App, which was launched in May for android users, is now made available on iOS with additional features.
Star MF will provide IFA Portfolio Services to IFAs. With this, IFAs will have a business dashboard, client portfolio report/holding statements and more.
"All these services will go a long way in strengthening the mobilisation of domestic funds flowing into the capital markets.” BSE Star MF Head Ganesh Ram said in a statement.
Ram told Cafemutual that the highest transactions recorded intraday was 8.46 lakh and BSE Star MF is confident of touching 10 lakh/day. In terms of monthly transactions BSE Star MF aspires to reach 50 lakh/month as against 48 lakh currently.
