There is no need to worry if your ARN is due for renewal.
In an effort to deal with Covid-19 outbreak, AMFI will give three months extension to those mutual fund distributors where ARNs are due for renewal.
The decision was taken after NISM canceled and postponed all NISM exams scheduled to be held between March 14 and March 31. These exams include NISM Mutual Fund Distribution Examination and CPE programs.
Radhika Gupta, CEO, Edelweiss MF and Head of ARN Committee, AMFI told Cafemutual that AMFI will soon issue a formal notice to give relaxation to distributors to renew ARN. “There is no need to panic. The AMFI ARN committee has decided to give extension of up to 3 months to distributors to renew their ARN.”
If you have enrolled for certification examination and CPE program during March 14 and March 31, NISM will offer rescheduling facility once the examinations and CPE commence.
Further, NISM will update if exams and trainings resume from April 1, 2020.
