SBI MF launches WhatsApp transaction facility for MF distributors

Distributors can create MF transactions by sharing PAN details of their clients through WhatsApp.

SBI Mutual Fund has launched a new facility for distributors through which they can initiate transaction in SBI MF’s schemes through WhatsApp.

With this, distributors can initiate lumpsum, SIP, switch, STP and SWP transaction for their clients. Distributors will be required to share PAN details of their existing clients having folio with the fund house through WhatsApp @7208017353.

In addition, distributors can check investment portfolio of their clients, download account statement and capital gains statement through this facility.

The fund house also offers reporting services to distributors like details on sales, market share, AUM, live SIP details and brokerage through WhatsApp.

This facility will come in handy for distributors who rely on physical transactions to execute transactions during nationwide lockdown.
