L&T MF has appointed Shriram Ramanathan as Head - Investment - Fixed Income. This appointment is one of the key parts of L&T Mutual Fund's strategy of strengthening its investment management capability.
Prior to joining L&T Mutual Fund, Shriram was Portfolio Manager - Fixed Income with Fidelity Worldwide Investment's India business from December 2009 to June 2012. Shriram was earlier Senior Investment Manager- Global Emerging Market Debt (Asia) with ING Investment Management based in Hong Kong from September 2005 to October 2009 where he single handedly managed fund corpus worth $2bn. His other assignments included fixed income research at Zurich Asset Management, and Treasury at ICICI Bank. Coincidently, Shriram started his career with Larsen and Toubro Limited as an engineer. He also is a Chartered Financial Analyst and holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management from XLRI Jamshedpur.
