Benjamin Franklin once said, “Happiness consists more in conveniences of pleasure that occur every day than in great pieces of good fortune that happen but seldom.”

Among many things, Raj shared with us three simple tips that will help you find happiness and live stress free life. He calls them low hanging fruit as they can easily be achieved with a bit of disciplined lifestyle.
Keep gadgets away
While gadgets has become integral part of our day-to-day lives, it is equally important not to let them rule our lives. One of the simplest ways to achieve happiness is to stay away from mobile phone when we go to bed or wake up in the morning. Avoid checking your phone first thing in the morning as you will end up looking at some incomplete work on mails or see notification of negative news. This ultimately affects your mood and stresses you even before you have woken up completely.
Instead, think about what you want to do today and what is the most exciting part of your day. Anticipate a good thing that you are looking forward to. This will indulge your mind in positive thinking and make you feel happy about our life.
Maintain a diary about daily good experiences
Note down three good things that has happened to you every day. This could be anything that makes you happy like meeting your grandparents, going out with friends or so on.
This way, you would end your day by writing something good. It is much better than writing about incomplete task which may be stressful for you.
Exercise daily
Develop a habit of exercising or stretching daily to stay mentally and physically fit. Exercising does not mean going to gym and lifting heavy weights or doing 100 push-ups. It all depends on your fitness level i.e. while a 20-minute walk is enough for some people, some people can run 15 km a day. Do whatever you can but do some bit of exercise as it will make you feel fresh all the day. Moreover, have adequate sleep for at least 7 hours and avoid overeating.
