    Karnataka High Court to hear all cases related to closure of Franklin Templeton MF’s schemes: SC

    The Supreme Court has transferred all the cases pending with the high courts to Karnataka High Court.

    The Supreme Court has transferred all pending cases related to closure of six schemes of Franklin Templeton Mutual Fund to the High Court of Karnataka.

    The Apex Court has also directed the Karnataka High Court to complete the hearing of all the pending cases within the next three months.

    Currently, three cases are pending with the High Court of Gujarat, Madras and Delhi.

    Sources privy to the development said that the Karnataka High Court will first hear an appeal against the Gujarat High Court decision of staying the e-voting exercise of Franklin Templeton India Mutual Fund within two weeks.
