    Here are the top buys and sells by MFs in July

    Read on to find out which stocks MFs sold to meet the redemption pressure in July.

    Equity markets continued their recovery from March lows and rose around 9% in July. However, investors in mutual funds reduced the inflows to equity funds and sought safer schemes such as high quality debt funds and gold funds.

    To understand how MFs are dealing with these redemption pressure in equity funds, take a look at what went in and went out last month.

    Large cap

    In the large cap space, NMDC, Petronet LNG and Tata Consultancy Services were among the top picks for fund houses. Meanwhile, stocks of Vedanta, Punjab National Bank and DLF were sold the most by mutual funds.
