Sachin Relekar has quit LIC Mutual Fund, said two sources familiar with the development.
Currently, Sachin is serving out his three months’ notice. He joined LIC MF in December 2012 as fund manager and was promoted to CIO-Equity in February 2019.
Prior to joining LIC MF, Sachin has worked with Tata Mutual Fund. He holds MMS Finance from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies.
Sources said that Yogesh Patil will become the new Head-Equity of the fund house. Yogesh joined LIC MF in October 2018. Prior to LIC MF, he was senior fund manager – equity with Canara Robeco MF for nine years. He has also worked with Sahara MF.
Yogesh has done MBA Finance from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management.
LIC MF manages assets of Rs.15000 crore as on June 2020.
