The AMC aims to spread financial literacy through an indoor cricket game among school students and parents.
ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund has invented a fun way to spread financial literacy among children and parents. The game- Financial Premier League (FPL) has been designed by My Financial Advisor.The AMC is conducting an inter-school event among 40 schools in Mumbai to spread awareness about saving and investing. The first round of the game has been conducted and 10 schools have been shortlisted for the inter-school event to be held on 22nd September.
The main motto of fund house is to help children and individuals learn sound money concepts through an entertaining and exciting game of cricket - FPL. The game can also be used as a tool by parents to easily make the children aware about the importance of saving and investing.
“ICICI Prudential MF has partnered with My Financial Advisor to take this mission of financial awareness for children ahead. Financial Premier League is a unique game board format, created by MFA that appeals to a child's interest in playing games and through such an interactive format it educates them on key financial concepts,” said Aashish Somaiyaa, Sr. Vice President & Head - Retail Business, ICICI Prudential AMC.

game has two phases and the board has two different panels. The 1st
phase is played on the outer circle which is called the ‘Score Panel’ – the
game begins from this panel. The runs scored on this panel are converted into
money at the end of this phase. The 2nd phase is played on the inner
circle which is called the ‘Game Panel.’ The player needs to make smart choices
with the money earned on the score panel.
