Why do some MFDs succeed and others fail?

Learn the mantras of ‘Developing the Success Mindset’ in the next edition of ‘Lessons from the Masters’.
    Team Cafemutual Dec 10, 2020

Why do some MFDs succeed and others fail? Is it only about talent! Or, one needs a fair bit of luck. As strange as it may sound, MFDs having both talent and luck could still underachieve and not realise their potential.

Why is that? Because of the simple reason that they lack the right mindset to write their own script for success. In fact, it would not be an exaggeration to say that one can even overcome the lack of talent or luck with the right mindset.

You can delve deeper into this subject at the next edition ‘Lessons from the Masters’. Prem Khatri of Cafemutual will discuss the mantras of ‘Developing the Success Mindset’ with K S Rao, Head - Investor Education & Distribution Development, Aditya Birla Sun Life MF.

Setting context for the session, K S Rao said, “Each of us is bestowed with the potential to be the most successful. But only few of us are highly successful. What separates the most successful and not so successful is the ‘Winning Mindset’. This Master Class would help us decode what’s the winning mindset of our successful MFDs and how others can follow & win.”

Among other things, the session will cover these points:

    •    What constitutes the success mindset?
    •    How can we all improve our mindset?

‘Lessons from the Masters’ is a webinar series from Aditya Birla Sun Life MF and Cafemutual where industry’s top MFDs and trainers share the nuances of various aspects of the distribution business. The idea is to go beyond providing fresh perspectives on MF business and look at actionable ideas that can help MFDs take smarter business decisions.
