    Axis Multicap Fund is now Axis Flexicap Fund

    This will come into effect from January 30, 2021.

    In line with the SEBI norms, Axis Mutual Fund has renamed Axis Multicap Fund as Axis Flexicap Fund. The scheme invests across large cap, mid cap, and small cap stocks to facilitate capital appreciation over medium to long term.

    Effective January 30, 2021, Axis Flexicap Fund will invest at least 65% of its corpus in equity instruments, up to 35% in debt and money market investments and up to 10% in units issued by REITs & InvITs.

    In a press release, the fund house said, “We have been successfully managing this fund over the last 3 years and we believe that this change allows existing and prospective investors to participate in the strategy in the best manner.”

    a) What is the min % of midcap and small cap.
    b) What is the difference between these fund and hybrid aggressive fund.
