'Sharing snippets of books and staying in touch with clients grew my business last year'
I read a lot of books during lockdown on money and investments. Based on my learnings, I prepared some snippets and shared it with clients. Many clients appreciated this and in fact, they shared this write up with their family members and friends. This activity got me some referrals.
Another activity that helped me a lot was staying in touch with my clients. I made it a point to speak to at least 5 existing clients a day during lockdown to understand their financial situation. Thanks to these interactions, many clients increased their investments last year.

'Two things that transformed my business last year were using transaction platform and attending product training’
Last year, due to lockdown restrictions, I digitalized my business by joining MF Utilities. The platform helped me integrate investment portfolio of all my existing clients with the platform. In addition, it made execution of transaction convenient and easy for me and my clients. Now, they can execute transaction in mutual funds from anywhere and anytime. I can say that this shift has increased my productivity and boosted business growth.
Another thing that played a major role in business transformation was attending training programs on products. I attended online training program to increase my knowledge on debt funds. I also did Rebalance Volatility Certification Coach (RVCC) to improve my managerial skills.

'Posting videos, conducting webinar and sharing articles on mutual funds helped me generate leads'
In the last one year, I posted a series of informative videos for investors titled 'Dhan Ki Baat' on my YouTube channel.
I also did 50 webinars for investors with the theme 'Correction is temporary but growth in permanent. The aim was to give confidence to investors that equity investment pays off in the long run.
In addition, I wrote many articles to spread awareness on mutual funds and posted them on social media. I covered topics like importance of asset allocation, benefits of diversification, creating ideal mutual fund portfolio and so on. In fact, a local newspaper carried two of my articles.
These activities generated many leads for me last year.
