Next time when you eat Bhelpuri, it will surely remind you of hybrid funds.
The much awaited winners list of 'Hybrid Matlab...' contest is out. Kartik Dadia of Aditya Finoptions, Rajkot, Manish C Shah from Mumbai and Brajesh Singh of RPL Financial Services, Gwalior have been adjudged winners of the contest organised by Cafemutual in association with Mirae Asset MF.
The contest witnessed overwhelming participation from MFDs from across the country. Most of the participants were worthy of winning the contest but unfortunately we could select only three.
The judges liked the interesting and lucid manner in which the three winners explained the concept of hybrid funds.
While Kartik Dadia cites the example of bhelpuri to present an easy-to-understand definition of hybrid funds, Manish C Shah draws inspiration from rainbow to explain hybrid funds. Brajesh Singh recited a small poem on the concept and advantages of hybrid funds.
Here is the transcript of videos:
Kartik Dadiya
Hybrid funds mane bhelpuri. Bhelpuri me hota hai teekha chatni aur meetha chatni. Teekha chatni mane equity or meetha chatni mane debt.
He goes on to say that:
Zyada teekha chatni - Aggressive hybrid fund
Zyada meetha chatni - Conservative hybrid fund
Equal mix of both - Balanced hybrid fund
Brajesh Singh
Market me hai mutual funds ki bhid
Jisme hybrid hai sabse zaruri need
Sabke portfolios ki hai ye need
Isliye hum karte hai har investor se ye deed
Equity debt k sath rakho hamesha hybrid
Hybrid hai equity debt ka ek santulit combination
Jo deta h risk aur return ka perfect satisfaction
