NISM will update course curriculum of NISM Series VA: Mutual Fund Distributors Certification Examination Series VA.
Aspiring individuals wanting to become an MFD will have to clear this examination with at least 50% marks. Currently, there is no negative marking in this examination.
This will come into effect from September 20, 2021.
In a communication, NISM said “In order to incorporate market and regulatory changes, NISM has updated the NISM-Series-V-A: Mutual Fund Distributors Certification Examination. The updated NISM-Series-V-A: Mutual Fund Distributors Certification Examination will be launched with effect from September 20, 2021.”
