GPL Finance and Investment, a subsidiary of White Oak Capital has received SEBI’s nod to become sponsor of Yes Mutual Fund.
With this, GPL Finance will now initiate transfer of the mutual fund business from Yes Mutual Fund. The transaction is expected to get over in a couple of weeks, said the company press release.
Aashish Somaiyaa, CEO of the new entity said, “We continue to build a seasoned team of industry professionals who will leave no stone unturned to provide best in class investment products to retail investors. We will look forward to covering India well beyond the metro cities including B30 locations to achieve higher inclusivity through omni-channel presence across physical, virtual and digital channels.”
Yes MF has an AUM of Rs.81 crore as on June 2021.
