    Fight against corruption by supporting this initiative

    AMFI urges MFDs/AMCs to participate in Vigilance Awareness Week scheduled to be held between October 26 and November 1, 2021.

    AMFI has urged all mutual fund distributors and mutual fund companies to participate in the Vigilance Awareness Week for the year 2021 (VAW 2021) to be held between October 26 and November 1, 2021.

    The theme for VAW 2021 is "Independent India @ 75: Self Reliance with Integrity" ("स्वतंत्र भारत @ 75: सत्यनिष्ठा से आत्मनिर्भरता"). AMFI said that SEBI has desired that all AMCs, distributors and their respective employees should be encouraged to participate in this initiative.

    The initiative aims to spread awareness about anti-corruption and motivate people to lodge complaint against corrupt individuals and organisation.

    Here is what is expected from you to support this initiative:

    • Spread awareness about Public Interest Disclosure and Protection of Informers (PIDPI)
    • Encourage employees and clients to lodge their complaints against corrupt individuals and organisation under PIDPI and send it in writing to ‘The Secretary, Central Vigilance Commission, Satarkta Bhavan, Block – A, GPO Complex, INA, New Delhi – 110023
    • You may look at conducting workshops for employees and investors
    • Also, you can promote it through your website and social media handles
    • Conduct gameshows and quizzes for employees to support anti-corruption movement

    Remember that under PIDPI, you can lodge complaints against central government employees including PSUs and PSBs.
