Can you share with us your success mantra?
Our philosophy is simple - Engage with clients who find value in long-term relationship. We do not deal with clients if our wavelengths do not match.
While we do not have any success mantra to grow business, here are a few things that have worked very well for us over the years:
Right knowledge: Our qualifications and previous experience help us gain credibility and confidence of our clients. While I (Kapil Jain) am the gold medallist from IIM Indore, my father RK Jain is CA by qualification and has worked with a leading bank.
Right conduct: We follow a clearly defined philosophy to ensure adherence to ethical business practices. We always put our clients’ interest first and over the years, our clients have realized the importance of our services. Today, our clients are our brand ambassadors. They have been helping us acquire new clients through referrals.
Right practice: We are available 24*7 for our clients and are just a phone call away. In fact, we have put in place a mechanism through which we address queries and concerns of our clients well within our turnaround time.
Internal analytical tools: We invest heavily in research. In fact, we can track or identify problem in an investment portfolio well in advance. In fact, we were able to identify credit issue in some funds much before it was announced.
Understanding clients: We never talk about products. We first understand needs and requirements of clients before recommending any investment product to them.
Offering multiple product and services: From direct stocks to mutual funds or from estate planning to taxation, we offer a host of products and services to our clients. In a way, we run a one-stop solution company.
How did MFU help you transform your business especially during pandemic?
Despite lockdown restrictions, we did not face any difficulty in doing business. Thanks to MFU platform, we were able to execute seamless transactions in mutual funds during the pandemic. The platform has also helped us exercise work from home option. I would not hesitate in saying that MFU has played a major role in giving Enrichwise an impetus in its growth journey.
What makes MFU a better platform?
The best thing about MFU is adaptability. The platform upgrades itself to match the evolving needs of MFDs and clients. In fact, a majority of our MF transactions i.e. 80% happens through MFU. While there are many things, which I like about MFU, I would like to highlight two important points of MFU:

What is one major achievement that you would like to highlight?
Recently, we found an NFO offering unique theme and deserves a place in our clients’ portfolio. However, we were late in spotting this opportunity and there were just 2 days left for its closure. With the help of MFU, we launched a mini campaign to communicate with our clients. To our surprise, the activity paid off really well and we received application from over 250 clients for the total amount of Rs.2 crore.
Any important suggestion to MFDs who are yet to move their business online to platforms like MFU?
MFDs who are passionate about their business should use platforms like MFU to focus more on clients servicing. MFU can give their business an edge that they always desired.
