    Tata MF sales head quits, J P Morgan gets a new retail sales head

    Hitungshu Debnath had joined Tata AMC in January 2011.

    Hitungshu Debnath, Head – Sales, Marketing & Investor Services, Tata Asset Management has put in his papers. He is currently believed to be serving his notice period.

    It is not known where Hitungshu is moving but he is likely to remain in the asset management industry.

    He had joined Tata in January 2011 and was previously Executive Director - Distribution & Wealth Management at Angel Broking. He has also worked with Motilal Oswal Securities, HDFC Mutual Fund and Alliance Capital Asset Management (now Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund). 

    Hitungshu is a CFP and has done his PGDMM, Marketing from Times School of Marketing.

    Meanwhile, J P Morgan is said to have appointed Supreet Bhan as its new Retail Sales Head. Supreet who currently heads sales in Mumbai at DSP Black Rock, is currently serving his notice period and is expected to join J P Morgan Mutual Fund later in March. Supreet replaces Arindam Ghosh who was heading retail sales at J P Morgan till December 2012.

    J P Morgan Mutual Fund currently manages Rs 13300 crore.
