    ABSL MF earns Rs.186 crore in December quarter

    Revenues rise 10% year-on-year to Rs.353 crore, non-tax expenses decline to Rs. 104 crore.

    The net profit of Aditya Birla Sun Life AMC rose 27% in the December quarter (Q3) to Rs. 186 crore from Rs. 147 crore in the corresponding period a year ago.

    The rise in profits was mostly due to a decline in expenses. The company reported total expenses (excluding taxes) of Rs. 104 crore in Oct-Dec 2021 as against Rs. 128 crore in Oct-Dec 2020.

    With 10% increase in revenue, the fund house reported the total revenue of Rs.353 crore in Oct-Dec 2021.

    The quarterly average AUM of the AMC registered a growth of 17% to Rs. 2.99 lakh crore. It added around 9.8 lakh new folios in the first nine months of FY 2022. The AMC received SIP inflows of Rs. 892 crore from 31 lakh accounts in December 2021, the company said in a press release.
