Peerless
Mutual Fund has filed a draft offer document with SEBI to launch its close
ended equity scheme Rajiv Gandhi Equity Saving Scheme (RGESS). The scheme seeks
to generate long term capital appreciation, from a portfolio that is
substantially constituted of equity securities which are specified as eligible
securities for RGESS, as amended from time to time. The Scheme may also invest
a certain portion of its corpus in cash and cash equivalent and money market
instruments from time to time.
The
minimum application amount will be Rs 1000. The benchmark of the scheme is CNX
100. No exit load will be charged in the scheme. The tenure of scheme is 3
years from the date of allotment. The fund will be managed by Kaushik Dani.
