    Latest MF rankings: SBI, Axis and Nippon have a happy FY 2022

    SBI MF adds Rs. 1.43 lakh crore to its AUM in one year, Axis records a Rs. 63,269 crore growth, shows latest AMFI data.

    SBI Mutual Fund has consolidated its stay at the top of the mutual fund ranking with 28% surge in average AUM in the last financial year (FY 2021-2022). In the top 10, Axis MF and Nippon India MF were the other top performers AUM wise with a growth in excess of 24%.

    In the top 10, there has been only one change — ICICI Prudential has moved up one place to the second spot in place of HDFC.

    In absolute terms, SBI's AUM went up by Rs.1.43 lakh crore during the period. Axis registered the second highest surge in AUM at Rs.63,269 crore followed by Nippon India (Rs.54,675 crore).

    Overall, Quant MF registered the highest percentage growth as its AUM rose nine folds from Rs.722 crore to Rs.6,506 crore. PPFAS, PGIM India and ITI were the major gainers with AUM growth of 165%, 153% and 131%, respectively.
