    Here’s a list of most bought and sold stocks by mutual funds last month.

    Vedanta, Indus Tower and Hindustan Zinc were the top three largecap additions in mutual fund portfolios in March. Others that witnessed heightened buying interest from mutual funds include SAIL, Godrej Consumer and Ambuja Cements, shows a report by ICICI Direct.

    Largecap stocks that were sold the most included IRCTC, UPL and JSW Steel. IRCTC had featured in the most sold largecap stocks in February as well.

    In the midcap space, GMR Infra was the most bought stock for the second consecutive month. Coforge, Biocon and Sundaram Finance were the other most sought after midcap stocks. On the other hand, L&T Finance, Vodafone Idea and Union Bank of India topped the list of 'most sold midcap stocks'.

    Gulshan Polyols, HEG and Stove Kraft topped the list of most bought smallcap stocks, the report showed. The other popular stocks were TV18 Broadcast, Supreme Petrochem and Intellect Design Arena. The ones that were sold the most include Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers, Mahanagar Gas and Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation.
