Radhika Gupta, the MD and CEO of Edelweiss MF, has made it to the World Economic Forum's latest list of 'Young Global Leaders'.
The World Economic Forum said the 'only female head of a major asset manager' has played a key role in setting the strategic direction for investment and distribution verticals at Edelweiss MF.
Radhika said the selection will allow her to share her views on the global stage. "I am delighted and humble to join the incredible and impactful group that comprises the Young Global Leaders of the World Economic Forum. This is a one of a kind opportunity to learn, expand my horizons, and influence topics that are close to my heart on a global stage," she said.
This year, the World Economic Forum has named 109 young achievers from across the world. The list includes researchers, innovative entrepreneurs, activists, artists and leaders from business, civil society, academia and government.
The list contains seven names from India. Apart from Radhika Gupta, Aam Aadmi Party leader Raghav Chadha, athlete Manasi Joshi, Innov8 Coworking founder Ritesh Malik and CEOs of BharatPe (Suhail Sameer), Sugar Cosmetics (Vineeta Singh) and Global Himalayan Expediton (Jaideep Bansal) have been included in the 2022 Class of Young Global Leaders.
