Canara Robeco AMC has filed a draft offer document with SEBI to launch its open ended Agribusiness Fund. The scheme aims to generate long term capital appreciation from the diversified portfolio of companies focusing on food and agriculture space. The scheme will also invest some part of its corpus in money market instruments.
The minimum application amount for the scheme is Rs 5000 for lump sum investment and Rs 1000 for SIP. The scheme will charge an exit load of 1 % if redeemed before one year from the date of allotment. No exit loads will be charged thereafter. The benchmark of the scheme is S&P BSE 500. The fund will be managed by Ravi Gopalkrishnan (Head Equity).
