    Association update: AIFA opens a new chapter in Thrissur

    AIFA (Kerala Association of Independent Financial Advisor) will now have its presence across five cities in Kerala.

    AIFA (Kerala Association of Independent Financial Advisor) has opened a new chapter in Thrissur. Post this development, the MFD association will now operate through a network of five chapters namely, Ernakulam, Trivandrum, Calicut, Kottayam and Thrissur.

    AIFA’s representative shared with Cafemutual, “The launch of the Thrissur chapter is a new milestone and we are happy to welcome Thrissur MFDs to AIFA’s family. President G. Manikantan Nair, General Secretary Ramesh A. and Joint Secretary M. Ramakrishnan have played a vital role in setting up the new chapter.”

    The association will host a physical meet on May 7, 2022, Saturday to officially announce the chapter launch and discuss its future aspects. The meet will also host three eminent speakers who will share with attendees some valuable business tips.

    The Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI) is the AMCs United together. They are taking steps one after another to keep on over regulating the IFA / MFD community with some or the other rules and regulations in the name of code of conduct.

    Are we IFA s / MFD s Association doing something to oppose some ridiculous rules and regulations imposed on the IFAs /MFDs.

    We all MFDs also need to speak in one voice as Mr. Nilesh Shah said in one of his communications to the MFDs.

    We/ Our IFA /MFD Associations should also run ADs on the TV explaining the importance of the expert advice of IFAs/ MFDs needed for being a successful investor.

    We should run ADs on ADVISOR ZAROORI HAI

    Explain the importance of the financial advisors just like engineers / architects / lawyers/doctors/CAs have in their fields.

    Then only our MFD /IFA profession will get it's dignity and respect. We need to command respect.
