UTI Mutual Fund has appointed Karthikraj Lakshmanan as Senior Vice President & Fund Manager – Equity.
Lakshmanan has 17 years of experience in fund management and equity research. Prior to UTI MF, he was working with Baroda BNP Paribas MF as a Senior Fund Manager, where he managed the large cap, consumption and aggressive hybrid funds.
He has also worked with ICICI Prudential MF in the PMS division, Goldman Sachs and ICICI Bank.
Lakshmanan has cleared Chartered Financial Analyst level 3 and holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Finance Management. He is also an Associate Member of the Chartered Accountants of India and has a bachelor’s degree in Commerce.
