    JP Morgan files offer document for its Government Securities Fund

    JP Morgan AMC has filed a draft offer document with SEBI to launch its open ended Government Securities Fund.  The scheme seeks to generate income by investing in the securities of various maturities issued and guaranteed by the Central as well as State Government.

    The minimum application amount will be Rs 5000. The scheme will charge an exit load of 0.25 percent if redeemed within 1 month from the date of allotment. No exit load will be charged thereafter in the scheme.  The Benchmark of the scheme will be CRISIL Gilt Index.  The fund will be co-managed by Namdev Chougule (Fixed Income) and Ravi Ratanpal (Debt).
