Axis Mutual Fund today announced the launch of its 42
months close ended debt scheme called Axis Hybrid Fund – Series 5. The scheme
seeks to generate income by investing in a portfolio of fixed income
instruments maturing on or before the duration of the scheme. The scheme will also
invest its some portion in equity and equity related instruments so as to
generate capital appreciation.
NFO of Axis Hybrid Fund – Series 5 closes for
subscription on July 19, 2013. The minimum amount that investors can invest in
this fund is Rs 5000. The benchmark of the fund is CRISIL MIP Blended Index
Fund. R Sivakumar, Head - Fixed Income and Product, Axis MF and Devang Shah,
Fund Manager, Axis MF will co-manage the fund.
