    ASK Circle to hold its 5th MFRT event on August 3-4

    One of the most awaited events in the industry, MFRT’s fifth annual conference will see a gathering of more than 500 participants across India.

    One of the most awaited events in the industry, MFRT’s fifth annual conference will see a gathering of more than 500 participants across India.

    Kolkata based IFA group - ASK Circle is set to hold its fifth Mutual Fund Round Table (MFRT) conference in Hyderabad. The two-day event themed ‘Believe in the Un believe able’ will see more than 500 participants from across India.

    One of the main highlights of the event is that MFRT will present awards across 14 categories to the most innovative AMCs. Kanak Jain, Mentor, ASK Circle said “So far AMCs only got recognition for fund performance. AMCs today are offering a lot of value add to advisors - tools, trainings, presentations on markets, educational videos, etc. which goes unrecognised. Apart from this, we will also recognise new AMCs which have made a difference in advisors life.”

    Awards will also be presented to AMCs which have gained a mindshare among investors and advisors. Apart from awarding AMCs, advisors will also be recognised for their exceptional work.

    IFAs can look forward to discussions on use of technology and platforms, managing volatility, financial planning, etc. One of the major attractions is Paul Robinson, a motivational speaker from Bangalore. Apelles Poh, Pastor & Financial Advisor from Singapore who served in the Air Force for six years before becoming a financial advisor will share ideas on building a successful financial planning practice.

     

    AMC CEOs, advisors, and R&T officials are some of the key speakers expected in the event. Among the prominent speakers include Nimesh Shah, Managing Director & CEO, ICICI Prudential AMC, A Balasubramanian, CEO, Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund, Himanshu Vyapak, Deputy CEO Reliance AMC, Aashish Samaiyaa, CEO Motilal Oswal, Vikaas Sachdeva, CEO Edelweiss AMC, Kailash Kulkarni, CBO, L&T Mutual Fund.

    Besides learning and networking, IFAs can expect entertainment in the form of live music, dance performances and DJ.

     

    The ASK Circle group was formed in June 2007 and held its first annual conference in 2009. The group has 81 members,majority of them the east.

     

    One can become a member of MFRT if he/she has assets under advisory of Rs 2.50 crore in mutual funds. There are three other categories of memberships – Super (for advisors managing AUM of Rs 12.50 crore), Royal (AUM of Rs 25 crore), and Imperial (AUM of Rs 100 crore).
