Suresh Nair is the new President of AKIFAA.
All Kerala IFA Association (AKIFAA) has appointed new office bearers. These members will hold office till 2015.
Suresh Nair has been appointed as the new President of AKIFAA. He replaced Oommen Panicker who is now appointed as Treasurer. Earlier, Nair was the General Secretary of AKIFAA.
Meanwhile, Sam Koshy and Benzi Thomas have replaced Sudhakar and Jai Kumar for the positions of Joint Secretary and President South Zone respectively.
Other appointments are - Warrier CS as General Secretary, Balraj AP as Vice President, Jagadeesh R Pai as Vice President, Rajasundaran AP as Joint Secretary, Gopalakrishnan A as President (North Zone) and Sankar Kamath as President (Central Zone).
AKIFAA was established in July 2009 with an objective of empowering IFAs of south India through knowledge and professional skills. The association has more than 200 members.
AKIFAA also aims to bring all IFA associations together in order to form a national level IFA association which will represent collective voice of all mutual fund distributors across the country.
Nair told Cafemutual that the association will hold its mega event in January 2014. He also said that the association is going to organise knowledge seminars on technical skill development for its membersin the coming months.
