    Himanshu Pandya to join Franklin Templeton; Debasish Chatterjee to quit Baroda Pioneer

    Himanshu Pandya, Head of Products & Marketing at ICICI Prudential AMC is likely to join Franklin Templeton Mutual Fund as its Director of Products. Himanshu is likely to join Franklin Templeton in a week’s time.

     

    Himanshu will be taking the position held by Jaya Prakash K who was the Head of Products at Franklin Templeton. Jaya Prakash is now Director - Global Research & Analytics at FT.

    Himanshu joined ICICI Prudential in October 2001 and moved to Ask Investment Managers and subsequently to Karvy Private Wealth. He joined ICICI Prudential again in 2011 as its Vice President & Head - Product Development & Delivery.

    In another development, Debasish Chatterjee, National Head – Institutional Sales at Baroda Pioneer Mutual Fund has put in his papers. He is currently serving his notice period and is said to be moving from the AMC next month to start a consulting business.

    Debasish joined Baroda Pioneer in August 2011. Before joining Baroda Pioneer, he had worked with Sundaram BNP Paribas AMC (now Sundaram AMC) as its National Head – Institutional Sales. He had joined Sundaram BNP Paribas in 2002.
