Financial Freedom Fraternity (FFF) recently held the third FFF Conference in Thane, Maharashtra from September 16, 2022 to September 18, 2022. Themed ‘Manifestation’, the conference emphasized how continuous hard work and resilience manifest success.
Going by its theme, FFF celebrated the hard work and success of 18 MFDs in two broad categories. It also acknowledged 5 MFD associations for creating a positive influence on the MFD community.

8 MFDs emerged as winners in this category. An AUM size of over Rs. 1,000 crore was the sole criterion here.

FFF celebrated the zeal and inspiring journeys of 10 MFDs under this category. Winning MFDs are some of the top business performers from their regions or support some social cause or have a unique business style.
Alpa Shah distributes mutual funds with her son and is an active member of the Rotary Club in Mumbai, Maharashtra. She works for uplifting the transgender community and reforming the life of jail inmates.
Bhavik Udeshi from Kolkata, West Bengal largely caters to institutional clients and offers a blend of both direct and regular plans. He currently has over Rs. 700 crore of assets under distribution and advisory.
Bobby Aggarwal hails from the city of Ambala in Haryana and has built AUM of over Rs. 100 crore.
Mukeshkumar Parshottambhai Patel of Anand, Gujarat travels to the USA and London, especially for IAPs. The MFD currently manages assets of over Rs. 250 crore.
Opinder Jain from Hyderabad, Telangana reported over 6 times growth. His AUM has grown from Rs. 20 crore in 2019 to over Rs. 150 crore today.
Rajendra Bhatia of Mumbai, Maharashtra runs Sunday Suvichar, an educative initiative to create informed investors. He currently manages over Rs. 300 crore of AUM.
Rajesh Sarawgi hails from Guwahati, Assam and distributes mutual funds along with his brother. He has on boarded his son and is mentoring him to carry the family legacy forward. The trio now manage over Rs. 300 crore of AUM.
Suresh Kakani of Indore, Madhya Pradesh has built an AUM size of over Rs. 200 crore and has been at the forefront of creating an MFD association group in Indore.
Swati Joshi from Thane, Maharashtra manages over Rs. 350 crore AUM with her all-women team.
Tuhin Jana hails from Champadanga, a small town in West Bengal and caters to retail clients including fruit vendors. He manages over Rs. 100 crore AUM and has created crorepati fruit vendors.

FFF honoured 5 MFD associations based on their influence at the national level, state level, metro cities and non-metro cities. A six-member jury comprising Amit Bivalkar, Amit Trivedi, Debashish Mohanty, Harish Rao, Karan Datta and Ramesh Bhat selected the winners.
